Influence of Cereals on the Production Performance and Biochemical Profile of Broiler Chickens

Aim: This experiment was conducted to determine the effects of incorporation these two cereals on zootechnical performances, biochemical profile, characteristics carcass and consumable offal chickens. Methods: 318 broiler chicks (day-old) were divided into 3 lots. In group "barley", maize partially replaced by crushed barley during three conventional rearing phases, they are 31%, 32% 35% respectively. "triticale group" ; chickens here consumed a feed in which substituted 31% at starting, growth finishing, Results: The best weight obtained fed "barley" ration, followed "triticale" ration. lowest live recorded with "control. On other hand, results show that triticale supplementation diet does not change chickens: non-significant variation between "control" groups (P>0.05).
